One in five deaths in California among 15 to 24-year-olds is now fentanyl related. Since 2017, deaths by fentanyl are up 1,027%, according to the latest data from California Health Policy Strategies. Alameda Health System physician Dr. Andrew Herring is on the frontlines of the fentanyl epidemic in the Bay Area. As co-founder of CA Bridge and director of the Bridge Clinic at The ag亚游官网 ag亚游官网 Highland Hospital in Oakland, CA, Dr. Herring is leading the expansion of medication-based therapies for addiction treatment in California.
